Too busy to blog!

Sorry I know it has been forever since I've blogged but my life has been absolutely crazy and even more hecktick than usual! As most of you know I was diagnosed with a disease called interstitial cystitis or IC for short. It is a chronic inflammatory condition of the bladder and it's cause is unknown. Unlike common cystitis (bladder infection) it is not caused by bacteria and does not respond to conventional antibiotic therapy. At this time there is no cure for IC, or an effective treatment that works for everyone. Basically you feel like you have a bladder infection most of the time with a lot more pelvic pain not just burning when you urinate. I had a surgery where they dialated my bladder and filled it as full as it would go. For a normal person this isn't painful at all but for someone with IC after the surgery the pain was worse and my bladder was covered with hemorrhages on the bladder wall. They inject some anti-inflammatory and other medications to help with pain. After peeing blood for 3 days and being in a lot of pain and not being able to take anything for it because pain meds don't agree with me I finally started to feel a little better. My urologist said the only symptom I don't have is a small bladder mine is normal sized but I would almost rather have to pee a lot than having pain all the time. They say if you follow a special IC diet it helps but you can't hardly eat any fruit which is killing me I could live on fruit and chocolate but I'm not supposed to eat that either. Somebody please shoot me! Everything about it totally sucks and I am having a really hard time with it. Some days I just don't even want to eat because it's not worth the pain you have to go through. I have lost some weight so I guess that's the one good thing that has come out of this. I also have to large kidney stones. How can you go your whole life with nothing and then bam everything hits at once. I know it could be worse I could have a terminal illness so I won't complain but now you know why I haven't blogged I've been a little busy and a lot depressed so I will try to do better!

Kinsley's 1st Birthday

I can't believe my baby is 1 allready boy how time flies it seems like we just had her and it's allready been a year! Since it had only been 4 days since my surgery Grandma Renee was nice enough to let us have the party at her house and her and Daddy picked out all the decorations and pretty much took care of everything since I wasn't really up for it quite yet. We wanted to have the party on her real B-day and it was on a week night so we figured we better have it around 7 so everyone could make it after work and dinner. Well around 6:45p.m. Kinsley starts yawning and getting a little cranky so we were sure that this was going to be awful she needed a nap and everyone would be there in 15 minutes. We decided to start with the presents which she loved tearing the paper off but then just threw whatever she got to the side. I guess she's still a little young for opening that many presents but she loved all of them and plays with them every day so Thanks Everyone for all the cute and fun stuff! She started to get a little tired of the presents since there were so many so we decided to go try the cake. Kinsley really loved the candle and I thought for sure she would burn herself before we got done singing but I grabbed her hand right in time. She loved being able to dig into the cake. At first she just dipped 1 finger into the frosting but once she realized nobody was stopping her she dug in and threw it around, shoved into her face and smashed it over and over Daddy finally got tired of holding the video camera and asked ho long I wanted to tape her with the cake. The clean up wasn't to bad she only managed to get 2 gobs on the floor and the rest was contained on the high chair. After all that sugar Kinsley wasn't tired anymore so we finished opening presents. She was such a trooper she never fused the whole time eventhough she was exhausted. She is such a good baby and such a sweetheart we all love her so much. Kinsley always makes you smile and she keeps us laughing no matter how bad your day is she makes it better. We love you Kins!

Jada And Cashus playing in the snow Feb. 2009

Jada and Cashus had a blast playing in the snow on our last big snow storm of the year in February. Cashus loves the snow and he is hilarious to watch! He had some pretty good air jumping up to catch the snowballs Jada was throwing. It was diificult to get him in the air at just the right moment on camera.

The little stinker

Just had to share this picture cuz it is too cute! You can tell by the smirk on her face she knows she's doing something she shouldn't but she knows she's too cute to get mad at. What a little terd.

Kinsley loves the snow!

Kinsley was getting a little restless so I decided to take her outside with daddy. It was a little cold and very bright but she didn't seem to mind she was just loving being outside soakin up the sun! I decided to see if she liked sledding so I pulled her around on the little green sled and she loved ever minute of it as you can see with the big smile on her face. I just don't know what I ever did without her she definately keeps me going. I could come home from the worst day ever and she is just so happy and excited to see me she smiles and screams and you can't help but be happy around her. She is really a such a wonderful baby and I can't believe she will be 1 in 2 months. Time flies when your having fun! Or something like that. Well I guess I better go to bed cuz I gotta get up and run in the morning.

Christmas Eve at Grandma Woolf's 2008

This was the First Christmas Eve in my entire life I didn't go to my mom's house. It was really hard not to be with my mom for Christmas Eve but I guess that's how it is when your married. My sister had her baby on the 22nd and the baby had to stay in the hospital because she had fluid in her lungs so she couldn't go up either. My mom's husbands kids went up there so atleast she wasn't alone. If I can't be with my own family then there's no other family I'd rather be with. We had a really nice dinner and Renee had lots of fun games for the kids it was a lot of fun. We all had a great time and it was nice that we could all be there with his family. Thanks for the X-mas present Sydney I loved it and needed it. We sure missed you and Scott on Christmas Eve. Thanks Renee for a memorable night!

Wendy's Birthday get away!

At the last minute I decided if I didn't get away from my kids, house and everything else I was going to go crazy or maybe I allready did but this was exactly what I needed just no long enough but it never is! Wednesday the 17th after working until 2:30p.m. I went home and finished packing up the kids stuff so we could drop them off at Grandma Renee's. What a joke that is trying to get out the door at a decent time. By the time we got to Renee's house we were so exhausted we thought we should have just stayed home. Well the whole way there I was pretty onry but after we checked into our room at the Castle Creek Inn I was fine it finally seemed real that we were actually alone. We really only had a few months after we got married before I got sick from being pregnant and then we had a newborn so we really are looking forward to the day when we can actually watch a movie without getting up 50 times, sit at the computer without jumping up every 5 seconds since Kinsley loves the stairs, or have anytime at all to relax. Someday! Any ways back to our night away. We went to dinner at Iggy's since we didn't want to drive around all night and we didn't know where anything was or where we were going. Dinner was great but I couldn't wait to get back to our room and relax. It was a really nice suite they had scented candles lit the fireplace going and it had a jacuzzi tub with a waterfall in it. It had a huge balcony eventhough it was a little too cold to hand out on. The view was beautiful like we were out in a forest covered with snow it was very romantic! The rest of the night you don't want to here about but it was wonderful it just went by way to fast. We got to sleep in a little and then went downstairs to breakfast at the Inn it was yummy. The whole stay was perfect and I never wanted it to end. The rest of the day my kids were awful and I was in the worst mood until we went to Garcia's for dinner with Brandon's parents and Scott it was a lot of fun. I guess turning 31 isn't so depressing after all!
