So much to blog so little time

Makayla my almost teenager said she hates the family picture from our wedding because she looks stupid and she doesn't look like that anymore. This is true she has changed a lot in just a years time but what she doesn't realize is that I don't look like that anymore either and I want to look like the picture. Well she got her way like usual so until we get a new family picture which I won't until I loose my baby weight! This might be awhile then we'll post this more recent picture of her and her friend Reina dressed up like greek goddesses for a project on the last few days of school don't they look gorgeous!

Cry Cry Crying Kinsley

Well It's been awhile since I blogged but for good reason. We found out why Kinsley has been crying all the time the poor baby had a horrible ear infection and the first antibiotic didn't work so we had to switch to a stronger one. I feel so bad that I thought our wonderful baby girl had turned into a little stinker and was crying for no reason when she was in a lot of pain. It's been quite awhile since I've done this and I promise I'll get better Kinsley. I honestly don't know how people can deal with babies that cry all the time I'd be in the looney bin for sure I definately thought I was headed there this week! Jada started school on Monday and she loves it. Makayla told her that her teacher was mean and nobody liked her so Jada was a little worried, but it turned out all right. It really stinks for Jada since her sister doesn't have to go to bed or get up in the morning and she does but I told her that life isn't fair and that's just how it is. She didn't like that answer very much. Well I guess that's all I'm going to write tonight Kinsley is cry cry crying again and I think she got a little spoiled while being sick she thinks she needs to be held 24/7.

A little about us

I can't believe how much your life can change in just a years time! On November 8, 2006 I met Brandon for the first time and I knew that he was the one from our first date. For all you that knew me well at that time this was unheard of. I had pretty much decided at that point that I was going to focus on raising my girls and worry about finding love later in life when I got around to it. It's so scary to raise 2 girls by yourself and I just couldn't forgive myself if anything would have happened to them and it's very hard to trust people these days. Then Jackie who I will forever be in dept to for setting us up said that I should just go on a date with him and see what happens. Very sceptical about a blind date since they are usually horrible I wasn't sure if I was ready for this but then he called! We talked on a Monday night and he asked me if I wanted to go out on Wednesday night since we were both off work. He was very easy to talk to and I couldn't sleep at all that night because I was so excited to meet him. Wednesday morning I woke up with a fever and Jada had one as well. What luck! He called in the morning to make sure we were still on for that night and we ended up talking for hours. I started feeling better as the day went on and so did Jada so this was it tonight I would meet my future husband.
We went to Corbin's for dinner and it was very romantic I was so worried that we would sit there with nothing to talk about since we had talked the entire day but there was never even a moment of silence. After we called to check on Jada and he said if she wasn't feeling well we could just rent a movie and go home and watch it with the girls. What guy offers to do that on a first date he was definitely a keeper. She was feeling fine so we decided to go to a movie. The choices for movies were pretty slim since I needed to get home at a decent hour so we ended up going to Saw 3. Very romantic I know but it gave me an excuse to hold onto him through the whole movie because I was terrified! I hadn't watched a scary movie for ages. When you live by yourself with 2 girls it's not the best idea. After Our first date I called him the next day when I got off work and he came over that night to meet the girls they completely smothered him but he didn't seem to mind. We spent every minute of every day that we weren't at work together after that and on December 18,2006 my birthday. He sent roses to my work and took me up to the Grey cliff lodge for the most romantic wonderful night of my life and he asked me to marry him.
We had only known each other for 6 weeks and some people thought we were crazy but when you know you just know, and I knew he was the one. After changing the date from August then May and then to we had no idea when. His brother was getting married in June, his best friend in April and his dad would be gone for all of the weekends in May we decided on March 8,2007. This was less than 3 months away and I was totally stressed but with help from our mom's and families we somehow pulled it off. Four months to the day after we met we were married. It was the most wonderful day of my life and my daughters too. The whole day was perfect and the only thing I would have changed were my shoes. Wearing 6 inch heals for an entire day is not fun but it was definitely worth it. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon to Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya and an island in the Bahamas. It was wonderful and we never wanted to come home except we did miss the girls a little. Brandon is the most amazing husband and father we thank God everyday for bringing him and his family into our lives. He is such a wonderful man and I love him more than I ever thought possible to love someone. My life is finally complete and I am so happy that I waited almost 30 years to find the right one. He was definitely worth the wait!

Our sweet little bundle of joy

Wow! It has been quite the adjustment for me getting used to having a baby again. It has been over seven years and Makayla and Jada pretty much take care of themselves. So I went from doing hardly anything besides cooking to a new baby which is completely dependant on you for everything especially when you nurse. She has been a wonderful baby and she even sleeps really good she would be perfect if it wasn't for the spitting up she does constantly. Well Brandon and I felt so lucky to get such a good baby until this last week and for the last couple of days I think she's cried more than she has in her whole life so far. I just don't know how people deal with that 24/7 I would definately be in the looney bin. Hopefully she's just having a bad week and she'll be back to normal after this. She has brought so much happiness to our family and we are so grateful to have her in our lives she makes everyone around her so happy. Besides for the last couple of days of course!j/k Her grandma Renee says how wonderful she is when she watches her so I'm glad she saves the bad days for her us or we might not have a babysitter anymore. I forgot how hard it is to go places with a baby all the things you have to bring and they might get hungry or fussy honestly I can see know why most people just stay home it's much easier! In spite of everything we wouldn't trade her for anything in the world and we are so glad she's finally here!

Jada's Rhythm works dance recital

Jada's dance recital was back in June on the 13th but since I just starting blogging things will probably go in a backwards order. She did so awesome she was the only one in her tumbling class that could do a back handspring. Their routine was really cute the rode scooters and danced around before doing there tricks. Jada has a natural talent when it comes to tumbling she can't sit still and she's always flipping around she taught herself how to do a back handspring on the trampoline and she can almost do a back tuck she loves it. We were so proud of her!

Happy Independance Day

This was a very unusual 4th of July. Makayla and Jada went to Idaho for a week and a half with my best friend Amy. They love it at her house and go every summer for the past few years. Brandon went to work at 6:00 a.m. so it was just me and Kinsley. We slept in and missed the parade and I'm sure Kinsley was very upset about this. My mom and sister came over to visit for a while since we didn't wake up until we were supposed to be at IHOP having breakfast with them. We finally got ready around 1:00 p.m. and went to lunch with Brandon's family at Marie Calendars. We weren't going to go to the fire works since he had to be up so early but we decided what's the 4th of July without fireworks. This has always been a big holiday for my family. We get up early go to the parade and let the kids swim to cool off after. We usually have a barbecue or something and either go to a carnival or hang out all day. Since the girls were in Idaho we didn't do much so it was kind of weird but still fun. We missed the girls and are glad they are finally home
