Trip to Cancun
Well I know I haven't blogged for a thousand years or so but it's not because I haven't wanted to. This summer has been a lot of fun but very chaotic it seems like we have atleast 2-3 going on a week no exageration! I am so exhausted I almost fell asleep standing up at work last week! Anywho back to my amazing vacation! We left early Saturday morning on the 20th of June. My mom came to my house and stayed with our girls she is the best. The flight seemed like forever but it's really just because I don't do well sitting for long periods of time. A little over 4 hours we arrived at the tropical paradise. Cancun is a beautiful place and I can't wait to go back someday. We really appreciate Brandon's parents inviting us to go it was a blast! The whole vacation we slept in late, relaxed by the pool or at the beach and went to fancy restaurants. What more could you ask for it was definitley my kind of vacation. No kids and just relaxing, shopping, and eating good food it was paradise! If you ever go to Cancun you have to go to the Coco Bongo it is the most amazing club I've ever been to in my life. It was like a Vegas show combined with a dance club with live entertainment all night. We had a great time and wished Brandon's parents would have joined us but the thought they would be the oldest people there but we felt pretty young so next time they said they would go for sure. We had a little bad luck on Tuesday. We decided to go see Transformers since it was coming out that day. We decided to take the city bus since Ryan and Renee hadn't before. It was only 75 cents instead of paying 10-20 dollars for a cab ride to most places. Well it actually ended up being a very expensive bus ride since Brandon's dad left his backpack on the bus. When we went to get off he jumped up so we wouldn't miss our stop and left it in his seat. He realized right as the bus had left but it was to late and we didn't know the bus # or anything but we were hoping for a good someritan to find it and turn it in. No such thing on a city bus it's mostly the locals that ride it so we figured we'd see someone selling our stuff on the beach the next day. Ryan had his wallet, IPOD, his camera and our camera all gone it was awful. He had such a good attitude about it he figured there wasn't anything he could do about so not to get upset. It's a goood thing it wasn't me it would have ruined my whole trip and I would have wanted to go home. Well what can I say crap happens and you have to have something exciting to tell everyone when you go home and this was quite the adventure! We had such a wonderful time and we really missed our girls but it was good to get a break for a week. I needed it!
